Snow Day!!

I can't believe it...it actually SNOWED in San Antonio!! Its been 26 years since it last snowed. And it wasn't a heavy snow but it was enough to turn everything white, and it definitely was enough for the boys! We bundled all up and went outside to play in it. Isaiah didn't last long but Ethan had a snowball fight with daddy! So fun!

I realized later, after the snow had almost melted away, that we failed to build a snowman! I can't believe it. I went out and tried to build one with what snow was left but it turned out so pitiful that I didn't take pictures. Oh well, we'll just have to wait til next time!

Ethan's Special Day

Today our sweet Ethan turned 5 years old. I can't believe how fast he's growing up. In just a few short months he will start kindergarden! He can hardly wait. He loves learning, and I think he will LOVE school (*tear*). He's already starting to read and is learning how to add and subtract too. He really likes math. God has blessed us so!
Tonight we met Grammy and Papa and my brother Dan at Red Robin for dinner; it was his choice! We then headed over to Krispy Kreme for donuts, also his choice. As you can see he REALLY loved his donut!

Dad just got back from the Ukraine and brought this hat back with him. Isaiah thought it was cool!
Thank you Father for such an amazing blessing in Ethan. He truely is a gift from You and teaches us about your love and how to "become like children" everyday. I love you my Ethan!! I can't wait to see what God's plan is for your life!

Hunting Trip With Mr. Johnny

Our friend Johnny from church invited Josh and his dad to his ranch to shoot a deer. Josh thought it a good idea to take Ethan along. They woke up early to all meet at the building. Mr. Johnny treated everyone to pancakes at Whataburger and then they made their way down to Pleasanton.

Here is daddy's deer, his second this season!

Papa got one too!
Such a cute little hunter!
They are both excited to make some jerky! Dad is going to build a smoker for them to do something with all this meat...
Our AWESOME papa!
Then on the way home they stopped for ice cream...boy this kid had a great morning!

Bike Ride

Today was our first outing for Ethan to ride his new bike he got for Christmas. We took a trip to the park, played on the playground and went for a long (much longer than I anticipated) walk on one of the trails.
Had to put these two pictures in there, my boys' eyes are just so beautiful!

Isaiah was very excited to ride his scooter!
And here is the superstar! He sure does look good on that bike!

Isaiah got tired pretty soon into the walk so Josh took his belt and tied it to the scooter and pulled him. This worked well until he fell off and then we had to carry the scooter the rest of the way while he walked.

Mom, look at me!
I can get high too! (such a competition)
Isaiah tried out this new bouncy ball, but his legs weren't quite long enough to keep himself balanced!

Exciting News

Well, here it is folks...

Looks like we are expecting baby number 3! This is quite a surprise for us, but we know that it is all in God's plan and timing for our family. Please pray for us, especially me, because I have no idea how I am going to raise three children! HA! I will keep you updated on the pregnancy!

Praise God!

Kolb's Christmas

This year my aunt and uncle hosted Christmas at their house. We usually don't have time between Christmas morning and the Zimmer's Christmas to stop in but this year we stopped by for just a little bite to eat and visit. An added bonus was my cousin Jennifer and her husband Ron and their kids joined us from Florida.
Our lovely hosts: Alexis, Amy and Zak (Rick was in the kitchen slaving away!)
This is the beautiful table they prepared...
This appetizer was so good!
Gigi and the boys
My mom and Granny
me, Granny, and aunt Debbi
My cousins Jennifer, Alexis and me
My sibs
Uncle Dan and Isaiah
Ron and Kate
It was a short visit but worth it! The food was delicious and it was good to see everyone on this wonderful holiday! Now, off to mom and dad's!!
