Growing Too Fast

Today was Ethan's first day of preschool! Our preschool at Northside is pretty small and VERY hard to get into (because its always full). Ethan was so excited. I was able to get a good family shot before everyone headed out the door.

We got there early so everyone just played outside the door until it was time to go in.

What's nice is that Ethan is going to school with all his friends from church!

As you can see, he left me in the dust! His teacher, Mrs. Roberta is on the right, and Mrs. Theresa (she teaches the 3's class) is on the left.

Ethan was showing his teacher his homework. We had to decorate his letter E with things that he was interested in. We had dinosaur and car stickers on there, and some coloring.

Where else did Ethan go but to the cars??

I did surprisingly well after dropping him off. It probably was because I was headed off to work so I didn't have time to stick around. It also helped that Ethan was completely comfortable and ready to go, so I was confident he was going to be fine. I'm pretty sure next year at kindergarten I will need a box of tissues!

Something Special

Isaiah turned 2 today! We celebrated yesterday with friends and family but I wanted to do something small today too (of course Josh thought this to be crazy). I had a coupon for ice cream so we went there after dinner. It was yummy!

Isaiah's 2nd Birthday

My sweet baby boy turns 2 tomorrow. I can't believe how fast time flies! We had a small family birthday party for him to celebrate. Here are a few pictures from the party.

Our New Plasma Car

Jennifer's mother (love her!), who is an absolute pro at shopping second hand, found this almost new plasma car on craigslist for me. Ayden and Colby each have one and Ethan loves to ride it. Unfortunately, they are pretty pricey if bought new, so I was super excited about this! I got in touch with the seller and she sold it to me for only $15!!! I couldn't believe it, only wish she had one more! Ethan was so excited...and Isaiah liked it more than I anticipated. If the sharing doesn't go as well in the weeks to come, we might be shopping for another one!
