Playgroup At the Pool!

Today we all enjoyed playgroup at the pool. It was alot of fun and all the kids had such a blast! I tried to get everyone, sorry if I missed someone!
Ethan, Claire, and Ayden marching...
Bring some cars and Isaiah is a happy camper!
Reef and Jonas had a great time pulling Ethan around on this float
Colby with Shamu
Ainsley
Kamryn, Isaiah and Eden (Isaiah was trying to hug Eden and she wasn't interested)
She finally let him get a little close! These two are SO cute!

Ayden was surfing...but I don't know if she knew she was out of the water!
This fountain was a huge hit...caused lots of running, which led to upset mommies, but still a hit!
Leyna, Eden, and Claire
Reef LOVED the fountain! Just look at his face!
Isaiah was playing with this fountain, he had his shirt pulled up but he was facing the wrong direction!
Ethan and Jayden
Isaiah loved the fountain too!

Swimming!

Today we went to the Harrison's for some hang out time for the kiddos. We took them to the pool since the boys hadn't been in awhile.

Look at those cuties!
Just relaxin'
Sweet Ainsley

Isaiah was kinda bored, until he found these AWESOME toys!
Who knew shoes could be such a big hit??

1st Trip To the Alamo

This morning we went downtown to see how long the line was to get into the Children's Museum because they were advertising free entrance fees if you went during a specific time. We pulled up to the museum and thought, this isn't bad...until we turned the corner and the line was wrapped around and down another block. So, we decided to skip that adventure, but since we were already downtown we thought we would take the boys walking around.

We found a free parking lot (I of course had paranoia that it was a scam and we would have a ticket when we got back) and decided to walk over to the Alamo. The boys have never been there and it had been a long time for us too.

As you can see, it was pretty crowded so we decided to just walk around the grounds instead of stand in line to go inside.

Checking out the fish

After a "boring" walk around the Alamo, the boys were ready to go home.
I'll admit, not the best time we have had (there was some compaining) but it was fun to do something different with our Saturday morning.

The Letter L

This week we have been working on the letter "L". We did our "ladder" for the letter and then I cut out pieces of paper for Ethan to make a lion face (he had been asking me specifically for one). I didn't bother doing one with Isaiah because I have noticed that lately he is really only interested in stuff we do with paint or coloring, and his attention span is about 1 1/2 minutes!

Scary Lion
To go with our theme, we visited the library for the first time. Yes, I know, I waited a long time to take them to the library but glad I did because I don't think I could have handled 2 crazy boys! Ethan was wonderful and loved picking out books, although I did find it difficult to find books he was interested in (it just took awhile to sort through them and find one). Isaiah, on the other hand, was very bored. He will just have to get used to it, cause we are going to be going regularly now.

Later that afternoon, the boys had a lollipop...to, of course, go with our letter "L". Its fun coming up with things that go with our letters...especially fun and special things that they don't get on a regular basis. Can't wait to finish this set of the alphabet so we can start our Bible verse alphabet!
