Exciting News

Well, here it is folks...

Looks like we are expecting baby number 3! This is quite a surprise for us, but we know that it is all in God's plan and timing for our family. Please pray for us, especially me, because I have no idea how I am going to raise three children! HA! I will keep you updated on the pregnancy!

Praise God!

Kolb's Christmas

This year my aunt and uncle hosted Christmas at their house. We usually don't have time between Christmas morning and the Zimmer's Christmas to stop in but this year we stopped by for just a little bite to eat and visit. An added bonus was my cousin Jennifer and her husband Ron and their kids joined us from Florida.
Our lovely hosts: Alexis, Amy and Zak (Rick was in the kitchen slaving away!)
This is the beautiful table they prepared...
This appetizer was so good!
Gigi and the boys
My mom and Granny
me, Granny, and aunt Debbi
My cousins Jennifer, Alexis and me
My sibs
Uncle Dan and Isaiah
Ron and Kate
It was a short visit but worth it! The food was delicious and it was good to see everyone on this wonderful holiday! Now, off to mom and dad's!!

Christmas Morning Is Here!

It's finally here! Oh how the boys were excited for this morning! Mom and Dad joined us, which was an added surprise...and added presents!
This was the best picture I could get of both of them before the present opening!
Ethan dived right in to read the tags...
Then he saw this big one in the corner...what else goes with a helmet?
A NEW BIKE!!!
Isaiah opened his much anticipated gift, which I was really excited for him to get...
A giant Buzz Lightyear! He has been in love with Toy Story and this is all he looks at when we are in the toy section of the store. Thank you Grammy and Papa!
And Ethan got a bow and arrow, along with a GIANT bear target.
For some reason Ethan decided to change his clothes in the middle of the chaos. Isaiah opened up Toy Story 3 while he was away.
New shoes...much needed!
And Thomas the trains! These will work perfect on their train table!
Look who decided to join us for breakfast...uncle Kyle, Aunt La-La and Avery!
Sweet! A new basketball!
Avery was very interested in my new dyson.
What a wonderful, blessed morning! It warms my heart to see my boys so happy and excited! Now time to get ready for the rest of the day...

Christmas with the Teague-Gills

Its a tradition for us to go to the Christmas Eve service with my family before our get together on Christmas Eve. We enjoyed singing hymns and then we headed over to my mom's house where she had prepared a beautiful meal! We all made it to ONE table for dinner too! Then we gathered around and played Mexican Train, even Ethan (its one of his favorite games right now).

After the game we headed home to make the preparations for the morning. We set out the cookies and milk for Santa and scattered reindeer food in the front yard. This was a must! It sets the mood for Santa to visit our house...

Cookies for Santa

The boys were really excited to help decorate the cookies this year for Santa. I tried my hardest to give up control of how they looked and let them have at it.

Check out the sprinkles!

Our finished product...very colorful! I just know that Santa is going to enjoy these cookies so much!

Caroling

Tonight a group of people from our church had the privilege of going and caroling at the airport. We sang Christmas hymns by the check-in counters and the people walking by actually stopped to listen to us! It was alot of fun and an uplifting experience. Can't wait to do it again next year!

Gingerbread Houses

Tonight Mike and Tina had us all over for our annual holiday party. Kristina was very excited to host this year! She had even planned a craft for the kiddos to do...must be the teacher in her! It was fun to hang out with everyone and celebrate the season with our dearest friends! Ainsley will be on her way very soon...
Ashley and Mikie
Gingerbread house time!! The kids were so excited...especially mine because we have never done one before..I know, terrible mom!
Ethan jumped right in...
Isaiah's favorite part were the marshmallows (I think he ate more than he put on the house!)

Pancakes With Santa

This morning was breakfast with Santa. Oh how we love breakfast with Santa! Today they had red and green pancakes and a ton of toppings to decorate them with! So fun!
Lachlan
Liam and Jonas
Ethan, Leyna, and Jayden
Isaiah, Mike and Ellie - it was so fun to have them with us this year (and for years to come!)
So Santa came out to greet the kiddos before taking his spot in his chair. Jude did NOT want anything to do with Santa! "If I close my eyes, maybe he won't see me!" Too cute!
Ethan and Isaiah decorated their bags with stickers this time. Much cleaner than stamps!
Claire and Ethan
Concentrating...
Isaiah did really well with these dot markers. We need to invest in some...easy to use and cleaner than paint!
The craft this year was coloring an ornament. Such a cool idea! They picked their color, dipped the pom pom ball in the paint, stuck it inside the ornament, and shook it all around. I love it!
Ethan chose blue.
Baby Michael
Isaiah just loves kissing babies!
Time to visit Santa...

Ethan was telling Santa about the specific cars he wanted...it led to a conversation. Turns out Santa liked cars too. He had to be reminded that their were other children waiting to talk to him...

Isaiah was very excited about this candy cane!
Story time
Mrs. Tina is the BEST!!
