Thankful Tree

I got this great idea to make a thankful tree this year. Each day (or at least we tried to) we each thought of something we were thankful for. Each time you had to think of something different than what was already on the tree. We kept adding all the way up to Thanksgiving. I am going to keep all the cards and next year we will take a look at what we were thankful for the year before and talk about how God is so good to us! I love this new tradition!

Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving came so fast this year! Just before we know it, it will be time for Christmas! This year we went to my mom's for lunch. My uncle Mike and cousin Jonathan joined us too! Here is a picture of our LONG table:

After filling up at my mom's, we headed over to Josh's parent's house for another GREAT meal. Jacob and his "twin" cousin Colton matched today. They look so cute!

Isaiah's Turkey Party 2011

Today was Isaiah's first preschool Thanksgiving party. His class were the turkeys, the 3's were the indians and the 4's were the pilgrims! It was so fun to be a part of this special day!

Ethan's Veteran's Day Program

Tonight was Ethan's first kinder program. They practiced for weeks on all the songs (5 total)! Every other day Ethan would come home singing a new song.
He is really enjoying school! We met with his teacher last month and she says he is doing fantastic. He is reading really well and writing stories with pictures and doing wonderful in math. We are so proud of him!

Halloween Festivities 2011

This year I combined the trunk or treat and trick or treating into one post. We had a blast! The boys each picked out their costumes this year. This was the first time they weren't coordinated (kinda was sad about that..) but they looked so cute! My Iron Man and Buzz Lightyear loved every minute!

Air Show

Josh and Papa took the boys to the Randolph Air Force Base today to see the air show. They had the time of their lives! Papa, of course, spoiled them..but he wouldn't have it any other way! So glad they got to experience that with their papa and daddy!

Jacob - Month 3

Wow, babies grow so fast! Jacob is already approaching 4 months and its hard to picture him a little 6 pounder just a short time ago. He is really developing a personality..and this month started smiling and cooing. He is such a joy in our lives!

NS Retreat 2011

Here are some pics of our family retreat this year...some are blurry but I didn't take many this time so I put them in anyway. We had a great time! Was a little anxious about Jacob and how he would do sleeping but he did AWESOME!

We stayed up late playing games in front our our cabin with the Ebroms. SO FUN! Next year we will get cabins next to the Gibbins/Craftons and be able to play games all together!! Can't wait!

Bike Rodeo

Ethan was very excited for the bike rodeo at school today! I went up there to take pictures..I could not miss his first school event!! He did absolutely great. Seeing his friends and their bikes without training wheels hopefully gave him a little motivation to take his off..
