Take Me Out To The Ball Game

Wow, its been a long time since we went to a Missions baseball game! Even better, we were given free tickets from a friend!! So fun to go with our best friends and let the children run and have a blast-and not to mention, tire themselves out from all that running! And bonus: its fireworks night!!

Celebrating 10 Years

I am so blessed to have this man as my husband. Everyday he shows me the love of Jesus. I love his caring spirit, gentleness, his patience with the boys, the respect he shows others, and his servant heart. We have had ups and downs through the years but God has seen us through them all. I look forward to the memories we have yet to make! 

Jacob's 1st Birthday

Seriously, I can't believe he's one year old already! Even though it felt long, looking back on it, it flew by! He is such a cutie!! (sorry to brag) I had such fun planning his Hungry Caterpillar party and it turned out so cute! We even did a photo shoot with all the different fruits and their days...too cute! Jacob, you bring such sunshine to our life!

Kool Kats

Today we went to Colby's birthday party and came home with some awesome camo sunglasses. The boys were sporting them on the way home! Love!!

Spaghetti

Tonight was spaghetti night and Jacob loved it! I am so thankful that we are at the stage where we can throw real food on his tray and he can go to town. His red face is so cute!

Bowling with Best Friends

Today we FINALLY took advantage of the 'kids bowl free' during the summer program the bowling allies have! We met up with our besties and the kids had a blast! Good thing we only stayed for an hour, because it was hard to keep Jacob in the stroller the whole time. I didn't want him crawling around on that nasty floor!! I know they have these 'bowling helpers" (thats what I call them) that you can set up and put the ball on the top and push and it rolls down..its for the little ones who don't have enough muscle to roll the ball down the ally fast..we will use those next time for Isaiah!

Jacob 10 & 11 Months

These two months flew by in a flash! Probably because its the summer and everything happens so fast during the summer, it seems. Jacob is now crawling so quickly! He is also getting better at walking while holding our hands...shouldn't be too long til he's on his own. He is also quite dramatic when it comes to telling him 'no'...he throws his head down on the ground an pouts. Its pretty comical. He got his first haircut, courtesy of daddy, and did a very good job of sitting kinda still. He got to play in the sprinkler with his brothers afterward! We did alot of swimming this summer too. Jacob is very close to calling me by name...he says 'mama' when he's upset but hasn't yet called me by it. Can't wait for that! He's also so in love with his brothers...can't wait to see them when he gets up in the morning or from his nap. Still taking 2 naps a day, but it seems that he might be an early riser like Isaiah...Josh and I are hoping he'll grow out of that!! We are still nursing 3 times a day, but should go to 2 a day late in July. And he loves food...probably could live on fruit alone if I let him! His favorites are blueberries, strawberries, and watermelon. He's still our happy little biscuit (that's his nick name) and makes my heart smile all the time! So blessed by this guy!
